Meet Chef Rowan

Hey! Thanks for stopping by my website. My name is Rowan Marley, and I’ve been working in the culinary industry for 10+ years. My whole life I have loved cooking. Growing up cooking with my mom, I was encouraged to explore new flavors and cooking techniques. That only progressed into me joining the JJC culinary program.

        Eager to turn my hobby into a career, I took advantage of every opportunity presented to me. Mentoring by some of the best teachers, and alongside new and upcoming chefs, I was able to better myself every day. My time at culinary school had a tremendous impact on me and left me putting all of my heart into everything that I do.

        Around 2021, during the height of the cold, I decided to sell baked goods for the holiday season. My mini-bakery business took off, and I sold around 100 pies that season. It was a massive hit, but as much as I loved baking from home all day, it was soon time to get back in the kitchen and keep learning. From there, I worked in numerous kitchen types, from bakeries, fine dining, country clubs, to wineries. Getting to learn all different types of cuisines and cooking styles. 

        I feel strongly, after years of encouragement, that it is time for me to break away from conventional kitchens and give people what they need; access to delicious, home-cooked meals, without having to lift a finger-all while saving money! It’s time to accept that it is okay to receive help. Let me worry about the menu planning, meal prep, cooking, and cleaning up. Hire me to make your life easier!
